Dave Verboven - Sales Manager Belgium

“The good atmosphere and work relations with colleagues are an enormous plus point.”

Dave likes working with people and is commercial by nature, talents that come in useful for his job at DHL.” The fact that DHL is a large company and a well-known brand attracted Dave when he was applying online. “DHL is a very international company, but we work locally. Furthermore we are developing in a positive direction, and I find it interesting to follow that.” Developments are positive too at an individual level. “There are plenty of growth opportunities, in both non-operational and operational positions. Kurt Famaey - Team leader

“Near enough isn’t good enough for me.”

“My job is to ensure that orders from customers are carried out correctly and on time. It’s a constant challenge! The orders arrive twice a day, and then we spring into action: ‘picking & placing,’ drawing up documents and loading the items. I make sure that everything goes smoothly and supervise the personnel and the scheduling.” Working at DHL means always doing your best. Diplomas aren’t important at DHL: skills are what count. “For me it’s a point of honour to avoid errors and offer customers the very best service.” According to Kurt there is plenty of potential in the department where he works, and he is confident about his future with DHL. “I appreciate the open, cheerful atmosphere in our company, and I also like getting my hands dirty on the work floor. Doing some administrative work now and then makes a nice change.”
